Perigee is the point in an orbit where the moon draws closest to Earth. HORAE V Vantage Perigee translates that moment of proximity into a layered mechanical display shaped by orbit, perspective, and continuous motion.
A sculpted silver moon occupies the centre of the dial, surrounded by concentric scales, luminous particles, and colored orbital indicators. Instead of relying on a conventional visual arrangement, the display turns time into movement around a fixed lunar centre.
In daylight, silver, charcoal, and translucent surfaces create quiet architectural depth. Polished applied markers define the outer chapter, while restrained red and green indicators introduce precise points of color. After dark, the central moon, celestial particles, and hour markers reveal a vivid blue glow.
Inside, the Japanese Miyota 9039 automatic movement is powered by the natural movement of the wrist. An exhibition caseback keeps its mechanical structure visible, connecting the orbital composition above with the movement beneath it.
A substantial 43 mm case in 316 stainless steel is paired with a charcoal-grey top-grain leather strap, contrasting white stitching, and a traditional pin buckle. Perigee is not simply inspired by the moon. It places time in orbit around it.
